RULES OF ENGAGEMENT is on the Instant Watch now…and all I can think is, “Oh dear god, that show is still on? And has received enough seasons to be put up on Netflix?”

Allow me to explain…RULES OF ENGAGEMENT is quite possibly the most heartbreaking experience with TV I’ve had in recent memory. The…

but Russell & Timmy together is comedy gold.

I’m assuming there’s a difference in taste going on here…personally, the Russell and Timmy stuff is too easy, too one-dimensional. And, as I said in the original post, Russell went from a character that had room to change, into a cartoonish charicature that no longer resembles any kind of person who could exist in the real world.

That’s what makes the other characters so relate-able and like-able (Adam, less so, being the token ‘dumb’ character.) I know people like Audrey, and in some ways, I am very much like Jeff myself. I’m cheap and yet quick to recognize my mistakes with hopes to fix them.

And on a less deeper level, the jokes just didn’t have the same punch as they used to. Less clever. Again, a difference in opinion. I’m not going to berate this person about it…it’s not like a total crime against nature, like watching BIG BANG THEORY or anything.
