Ok so I’m really appreciating the amount of people that contiue to ask me if I’ve last weight lately…

Specifically because I’ve been eating sweets and other such garbage like non stop the last few weeks.

Of course…now that only opens the floodgates to MORE sweets. Cause that’s how my brain works.

Watching FOX for the first time in…literally years…and the promos for their programs remind me why.

There’s a new SLEEPY HOLLOW tv show apparently. Not only did they, shot for shot, rip off the “heads will roll” thing drom the Tim Burton mocie trailers, but the show as a whole looks like the worst thing ever….like….literally.

…at one point the headless horseman weilds an assault rifle…nuff said

I’m starting to wonder if, despite claims to the contrary, deep down I really do know what I want to pursue in a career but am either too lazy or afraid to actually do it…

All clues are starting to point in a certain direction…

I love a good story
I love strong characters
I love every aspect of my current job
I am a bit of a control freak
I pay attention to detail
I love the process of creation, watching something develop over time

…starting to get the picture?

Yep, director.

Thing is, I’m very apprehensive about it and yet eager at the same time. I have so many ideas I want to pursue, and high ambitions…and yet scared as hell to even research what the first step might be.

So many have had a pie in the sky dream of being some big time filmmaker…and so many have gambled all and lost on that dream. I don’t want to be added to the mix.

…but then again. What do I really have to lose right? Sure I could fail…but the more interesting question is…what if I succeed?
