So effing tired…good thing the plan is to watch a movie with friends tonight, where I can get away with being a good host and still not have to sit up off the couch or move in any significant manner.

Today I was thinking about a recipe for Roasted Rosemary Beets…which somehow led to “I Need More Allowance” stuck in my head for the following 30 minutes or so.

…well tough tomahawks (yeah, I know that’s not a real saying but I’m trying it out for size, it’s gonna be a thing!) cause I got jack else to post about.

My life has gotten pleasantly boring as of late and I’m enjoying it as best I can without being bored. Sure, I feel guilty for spending hours on end laying on the couch playing a video game about being a productive member of society instead of actually being one myself, but hell, I’m 26, single, and live by myself. If that’s how I want to spend my time off, who’s to nag me about it? No one that’s who!!

Even Transformer collecting has taken a bit of Hiatus. Sure, that’s because the DOTM toys are just as awful as the movie, but still KRE-O has been released and I’ve still to seriously consider purchasing them. Of course, when the PRIME toys come out, all bets are off…

Also, some of my sloth can be blamed on Netflix…or Qwikster…or Boneyouintheassbecausewehavenoideahowtorunasuccessfulcompany-ster…or whatever the hell they want to call themselves. DVD cue has been full up on BURN NOTICE, and BREAKING BAD was just added to the Instant Watch along with a ton of MST3K Gamera movies…sure they’re *shudders* Joel episodes. But for Gamera, I’ll take the not-at-all-as-funny-as-Mike Bullet.

Apparently they put lesbians in ADVENTURE TIME and both sides are freaking out. One side because “OMG I love LESBOS!!” the other side because “OMG I hate LESBOS!!” Frankly, I think both sides are missing the big picture; the princess is made of bubblegum. It’s not going to work out between them…she has no blood for the vampire chick to drink. It’s common sense people…come on.

Lastly, I finally have a decent collection of liquor to constitute the phrase “Liquor Cabinet.” At the moment it contains a full 750ml minus one shot of Sailor Jerry Rum, an unopened 750ml of Woodford Reserve bourbon, and 3/4 of a Flask of Jim Beam Black bourbon…ok, so maybe “Bourbon Cabinet” is more accurate, but you get the picture.

…bourbon is delicious.

…also, what does being homesick and anxious about being in a new city have to do with a “Party in the USA?” If anything, that’s “Social Anxiety in the USA.”

Also, if this song is any indicator, Miley has really shitty taste in music…

Is it odd that the Weird Al parody lyrics make more sense than the ACTUAL lyrics to “Party in the USA?”

Think about it…One is a straightforward song about international espionage…the other is about how your favorite song, when playing on the radio, inexplicably spawns butterflies that immediately fly away, signaling that “everything is going to be OK.”

I’ve been relatively quiet I know…mainly posting Pony related reblogs or nerd-rants of some shape or form.

Not really much to report on really. Been sitting on the couch, watching Jeopardy with no pants on can pretty much describe my days Mon-Sun.

Plus my mind has been a bit out of control lately, and a lot of me is just trying to keep impulses in check. I’m not going into it, partly because it’s more personal than is prudent to mention, but also because it’s really no ones goddamn business. Basically I’m just waiting for my mind to calm the hell down and relax, catch up with the rest of me which is already pants-less on the couch screaming at the idiot who doesn’t know who Shel Silver stein is. Seriously, how do you get on Jeopardy and NOT know “The Giving Tree?”

AVERY LIBRARY has been on my mind more and more as I go along my weeks. I really want to get back to it, but the art just isn’t coming to me. I’ll give it another few days, hopefully I’ll be rid of this funk then.

Saving up for a lot of things starting next paycheck, so I’m allowing myself one last “hurrah” with spending money, and then it all goes to things like when I eat out with friends, as opposed to recklessly buying myself shit like it has been. And what a hurrah it shall be! GODZILLA LEGACY COLLECTION, RODAN/WAR OF THE GARGANTUAS double feature dvd, and my very own Botcon Toxitron and Sideswipe!! Daddy needs more Animated toys…

I also find that I’ve been falling into the bad habit of staying up later than I have any right to. What do I do you ask? Well, nothing really. Listen to music on YouTube, scroll through Tumblr, post ambiguous and borderline bitch-ass laden blog entries…

It’s nearly midnight for f*cksake…just shuttup Dubzor and go to bed will you?

So, after an earlier post I made yesterday I get a tweet from the official 1800 Pet Meds twitter account stating that they refunded the shipping so I get the full discount!

Sweetness!

However, now I feel kinda bad knowing they had read my “Disscount Fail” entry in full seeing as my blog is the only way they could have gotten my real name and therefore track down my account.

At any rate, moral of the story: 1800 Pet Meds are good people, and anything you say on the internet, can and will be found O.o
